Frequently asked

Questions, answered

If your question is not here, email us — the address is on the contact page and a person reads it.

How does the card actually talk?

Open the card and Santa's elf Alabaster Snowball is printed on the right-hand page, holding out a gold-bowed gift. That gift is the button — press it and Santa's voice plays right from the card. Rechargeable via USB-C, no batteries to replace.

What can Santa's message say?

Anything you want. Write your own, or pick from our library of 44 sample messages — Christmas Eve, first Christmas, nice-list affirmations, playful and funny, reassuring for the nervous kid, by age, family and pets. Browse the message library — you can print them out and read from paper while you record.

Whose voice is it?

Santa's. You record the message in your own voice, or type it, and it comes back in his. Your recording is never what plays in the card.

Can I re-record the message later?

Yes. Plug the card into your computer via USB-C and update the audio anytime. Same card, new message every year. Some families re-record on every Christmas Eve.

Will it arrive in time for Christmas?

Order by December 19 for free fast shipping anywhere in the US. We ship daily through December 22. After that, expedited options are available at checkout.

Can I use any photo?

Yes — a Christmas-morning shot, a school photo, even a phone snap. We composite Santa beside or behind them, glowing warmly into the scene. A vertical photo with a little empty space works best.

How much is it?

$19.99, including free fast shipping in the US. That is the card, the built-in speaker, the USB-C cable and the printing.

How do I check on my order?

Everything lives on your orders page: the status, the finished card, the recording and the tracking number once it ships. Sign in with the email you used at checkout and we send a magic link — no password.

What if I don't love it?

30-day happiness guarantee. If your child doesn't gasp the first time they hear it, we'll refund you. (We have not had to refund anyone.)

Is my child's photo safe?

We only ask for what it takes to make the card, and we do not sell or share it. Exactly who touches your photo and recording, and for how long we keep them, is set out in the privacy policy — it is short, specific and written against what the system actually does.
